Maureen specialises in personal injury, 

but also deals in other areas of law. 

Upon admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and subsequently the High Court of Australia, Maureen worked for several top Perth law firms, including SC Nigam & Co, Donna Percy & Co and Shine Lawyers, and acted for insurance companies.

Maureen was also appointed In-House Counsel/Prosecutor with the RSPCA Western Australia, where she prosecuted animal cruelty matters.

In 2015, Maureen was a nominee for The Law Society of Western Australia, Senior Lawyer of the Year.

In 2017, she set up her own legal practice to provide personalised attention to clients with sensitive legal issues.  

Maureen has the following qualifications:

1. Associate Degree in Training & Development (Curtin);
2. Bachelor of Commerce (Murdoch University);
3. Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science, (UWA);
4. Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice, (UWA);
5. Licentiate in Music, (AGMS); 
6. Juris Doctor (Murdoch University);
7. Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (COL);
8. Legal Practice Management (COL).

During her spare time, Maureen enjoys photography, playing the piano and spending time with her rescue dogs.    

Maureen is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, and the Criminal Lawyers Association of Western Australia.  She is also a panel member for Legal Aid Western Australia, for civil and criminal matters. Maureen is on the panel of personal injury lawyers, for the Public Trustee of Western Australia.
